O-Sensei

The founder of Aikido is Sensei Ueshiba Morihei, known as Ï-Sensei, born
on the 14th of December 1883. Growing up in Japan and witnessing its
"modernization", he dedicated his life into the development of
a martial art form for the new japanesse.
The aim of O-Sensei, can be described in one sentence: the unification of the basic creation principle of the ki that governs the universe with the personal ki as it is seen in the power of the breath.
